Aimee is a third year graduate student in the Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology Program at UCLA. She works in the laboratory of Dr. William Lowry studying the role metabolism plays in tissue homeostasis and tumor initiation by hair follicle stem cells. Aimee is funded by the Eli and Edythe Broad Stem Cell Research Center Pre-Doctoral Fellowship and was also awarded the Philip J. Whitcome Fellowship Award while at UCLA. Her professional interests are focused on the translation of research into viable commercial products. Aimee earned her BS in Biological Sciences and MS in Molecular and Experimental Pathology from the University of Southern California.
