Two Venture Teams will present analyses on novel medical devices developed at UCLA.
We will first hear from the group assigned a technology that reduces treatment side effects of radiotherapy through balloon inflation methods. This will be followed by a review of a procedure involving video-guided chest tube insertion that minimizes complication and patient discomfort.
Your comments and discussion are welcome as our Venture Teams prepare for their final presentations in April.
I. Breast Immobilization Device for Radiotherapy from Ke Sheng, Ph.D.
II. Video-Guided Chest Tube Insertion from Robert Cameron, M.D.
