To prepare students to participate in the biomedical device scouting teams and venture teams, we will be putting on a mini workshop to aid students with their ‘customer based interviews.’  What type of questions should you be asking patients to better understand their hospital experience?  This potential customer says s/he will use your technology if available, but will they really buy it?  How do you read non-verbal cues?  How do you form your follow-up question to truly understand the meaning of the customers first response?
Market analysis and customer interview experts from Boston Consulting Group (BCG) will teach us their tricks of the trade.  If you are wanting to be involved with our biomedical device innovation teams or venture teams, you won’t want to miss this meeting.

 I. Mini Customer Based Interview Workshop by Boston Consulting Group–  Two UCLA alumni and current BCG consultants will give their insights on how to effectively ask questions to better understand markets and the needs of potential customers.  It will be valuable information to apply as members of scouting teams and venture teams.
