On behalf of UCLA CTSI and in partnership with the David Geffen School of Medicine, we wish to announce the new UCLA CTSI Distinguished Speaker Series which is co-sponsored by the UCLA DGSOM Themes. Please join us and take advantage of this unique opportunity to listen to leaders and innovators as they discuss the future of the industry. Lunch will be provided.

The speaker of the week will be George Daley. Dr. Daley is the Samuel E. Lux IV Professor of Hematology/Oncology and Director of the Stem Cell Transplantation Program at Boston Children’s Hospital. He is also Professor of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, Medicine, and Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, an investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Associate Director of Children’s Stem Cell Program, founding member of the Executive Committee of the Harvard Stem Cell Institute, and past-President of the International Society for Stem Cell Research.
