Through my work with the BSC I developed a skill set that is in high demand, shaped my career goals, and built my confidence. I am fortunate to have had this experience and enthusiastically support the efforts of the BSC to provide this much needed opportunity to others.

Programs

The Business of Science Center encourages entrepreneurship and innovation through our programs. For the past five years, we have continued to cultivate an atmosphere of innovation, entrepreneurship, and cross-disciplinary collaboration at UCLA.  The MedTech Innovation Program (MTI) two-quarter graduate course has been held for years and reflects the increasing scope of clinical needs we address within the UCLA Healthcare System. The Venture Team Program, our core program for helping UCLA faculty and staff to assess the commercial viability of their research, completed its seventh year in 2017.  Inventathon had their fourth medtech hackathon in March 2017.
